Boo! And Happy Micro Monday✨

Halloween is just around the corner, & we’re getting into the spirit of things! We even noticed a blog that’s already dressed up for Halloween… Pop over & have a look!

Speaking of getting out & having a look, Manton has been sharing glimpses of his cross-country train adventure & the scenery was just stunning! I was personally taken aback by this photo from the Puget Sound. Well, welcome back, Manton! We hope you enjoyed the journey. Now, let’s hear about what all he has been working on.

We’ve had another busy couple of weeks of software releases, with updates to the official Micro.blog apps for iOS, Android, and Mac. Epilogue 2.8 for Android was also released today (iOS coming soon) with speed improvements and a new way to scan book barcodes to quickly add a book to your want to read list.

On the web platform, the major new feature is something we call Blog Audit, for Micro.blog Premium subscribers. It checks for broken links, missing photos, and other problems with your blog. It can even repair some problems with one click. For more details about Blog Audit, check out Manton’s blog post.

There have also been improvements to Bluesky cross-posting with preview cards, a new version of the Pagefind search index tool, and more. You can find all the recent changes on news.micro.blog.
